The Gourmet-O-Matic tm Guides are intended as resources for creating gourmet meals.

The Gourmet-O-Matic tm Recipe Guides are where the gourmet meal-making rubber meets the road. In these Guides you will find worksheets listing various ingredients to combine according to The Gourmet-O-Matic tm principles so you can automatically make gourmet entrees and side dishes. For greater simplicity, initially use The Gourmet-O-Matic tm Spice Blends Guide (one of the Recipe Guides) for entrees and the others for their respective side dishes. As you gain more experience, you can make modifications, e.g., add spice blends to your side dishes to create "cuisine-specific" fare.

The Gourmet-O-Matic tm Ingredients Substitution Guides expand on the Recipe Guides. These Guides list additional ingredients you can use in place of others to make even more gourmet dishes with distinct qualities.

These first two Guides, i.e, Recipe and Ingredients Substitution, lay the broad foundation for all gourmet meal-making. Once they are under your control, it is reasonable to move on to the other Guides:

The Gourmet-O-Matic tm Food pH Guides are for the more advanced gourmet cooks. Tasty meals, The Gourmet-O-Matic tm way, are made by combining piquant flavorings, hot ingredients, sweeteners, fruits, vegetables, spices and flavoring oils together with acid (sour) foods. The Gourmet-O-Matic tm Food pH Guides help the experienced gourmet balance the acidic foods with the other components by ranking many foods according to their pH or acidity (sourness).

The Gourmet-O-Matic tm Food Textures Guides are also for the more advanced gourmet cook. Once the basics are under control, then consideration can be paid to other matters, like texture. Though not as advanced as The Gourmet-O-Matic tm Foods pH Guides (see below), texture is another thing to consider when preparing a gourmet meal, but only after the basics are under control.
